Development Strategies Of Baoting Vocational Education In New Countryside Construction

The overall objective for new countryside has been proposed at the sixteen NPC,it requires a comprehensive development of countryside,push the new countryside to become prosperous,democratic,civilized and harmonious.The new countryside requires lots of high-quality talents with professional skills who can promote industrial restructuring and upgrading,develop regional economy.It’s necessary to rediscoveries the status,role and laws of vocational educations in poor area,particularly in ethnic minority area.In this paper,I take Baoting for an example and use many methods such as literature research,comparative analysis,empirical analysis and research methods to analysis the status and problem of vocational education,then,explore and advise the strategy of Baotint vocational education in the context of the new countryside construction.First,explain some related notion and theories,state the relationship between new rural construction and vocational education,to lay the foundation for next study.Second,take Baoting for an example,to analysis the status and problem of Baoting vocational education,use SWOT analysis method to search the internal factors and external environment of Baoting vocational education,then propose four preliminary strategies for the development of Baoting vocational education.The study found that the problem of Baoting vocational education can be divided into macro and micro aspects.The problem of macro aspect include:lack of founds,investment system is not perfect,people do not recognize the importance of vocational education,less employment channels,demand for talent is not high.Problem of micro aspect include:teachers are weak,curriculum unreasonable,teaching mode is single,school management is loose,targeting is not clear.Third,combined the experience on rural vocational education at home and abroad with the conclusions of SWOT analysis,propose the final countermeasures of Baoting vocational education from three aspects.The first is to strengthening the government function,such as increasing publicity effect of rural vocational education,establishing the guarantee mechanism of vocational education fund and the vocational education system,strengthening the legal system construction of vocational education.The second is deepening the internal reform of vocational education,such as reasonable curriculum,strengthening the teaching staff,changing the school mode and improving the teaching quality,strengthening employment guidance and improving the employment mechanism.The third is encouraging companies,guild and media to participate in vocational education,promoting the healthy and sustainable development of local vocational education.Finally,summary and point out the shortcoming of the research.
