Analysis And Discussion Of Medical Treatment Risk Management Of Triathlon Competitions Hold By China Triathlon Sports Association

With the development of sport and social,economic and cultural interaction is more and more closely,the number of sports events and the scale of sports events are gradually expanded,risk of events also increased,such as human resources risk,financial risk,equipment risk.Among all these risks,security issues of participants are most concerned.There are always many risks,once accidents happened during the events,the event medical rescue department must rescue athletes at the first time.If a sudden medical malpractice handled improperly,not only the injured athlete will delay the diagnosis and treatment,but also it will lead to the negative impact of the event.Especially when there are a large number of amateurs compete in the events,the medical emergency management is even more important.Based on the combination of the theory of risk management and the triathlon events hold by China Triathlon Sports Association,this study investigates the current situation and existing problems of the triathlon in terms of its characteristics through the methods of literature reference,expert interview,comparison analysis and field survey.Analysis of the whole process of medical rescue during the event and summarized a set of medical rescue risk management scheme suitable for the tournament.And improve the risk consciousness of the main tournament to achieve the maximum safety guarantee at minimum cost.Through the in-depth researching of the medical rescue links of the Triathlon in China,it is found that there are the following risks in the event:(1)the implementation of the system is not in place;(2)the hold cities paid too much attention on the economic interests of the game;(3)pre-match qualification examination is easy to confuse;(4)there are not enough attentions paid on the medical assistance information after the game;(5)communication difficulties between the international games.Combined with the medical ambulance protection measures during related triathlon events,this study make some improve measures to the China Triathlon Sports Association about medical treatment risk management:(1)pre-match risk prevention and exercises: including the development of medical aid emergency plan,the preparation of medical ambulance handbook,the online qualification examination of athletes,medical aid protection outsourcing,pre-competition training and exercises.(2)risk response and intervention during the match: including " triathlon physicians" entry,the staffs act as "medical observers",recording medical aid process information.(3)post-match tracking and summary: including the establishment of the players-the hospital-the committee-the insurance company liaison mechanism,archiving medical statistics data.The study make some recommendations to the China Triathlon Sports Association about medical treatment risk management:(1)prepare a medical rescue manual for the contestants,including safety tips and self-help tips.(2)training more professional,sports targeted medical representatives to protect the reserve forces,improve the professional quality of personnel.(3)Increase and carry out the policy and improve the importance of the host to the medical care support.(4)Find and look for the "Ironman doctors",organize their participation,for the track medical escort.(5)Organizing participants accept triathlon sports safety education in the off-season or during game-time.
