In the mathematics teaching,variant teaching on mathematics is that teachers are conscious to transform essence of objects,change perspective and methods,in order to emphasize the characteristics of things,make the students understand the nature of things better.In junior high school mathematics classroom teaching,teachers apply variant teaching properly,can help to develop students' mathematical thinking ability,and stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics,so we can obtain good teaching effect.However,at present,because the teachers do not pay enough attention to the variant teaching,so variant teaching does not play its real role,which leads to less teaching effect.Firstly,this paper introduces the research results of domestic and foreign scholars in the field of variant teaching,and then give the related concepts of variant and variant teaching.After that this paper expounds the theoretical basis of the variant teaching in mathematics classroom teaching in junior high school and the three categories of variant teaching,and make a relevant case study.Secondly,on the basis of these theories and classification,I put forward the teaching mode of independent variation.That is to say,teachers should guide students to study independently and improve their learning efficiency.And then,this paper makes a systematic exposition of the principles that should be followed in the teaching of mathematical variation.The purpose is to show that it can not be abused and misused in the variant teaching.Finally,through the investigation and analysis of junior high school mathematics teachers and students,it is found that teachers do not pay enough attention to the variant teaching and even students do not know much about it.We can see from the results of the investigation after the resurvey,the students' enthusiasm for mathematics learning has been significantly improved,the interest is also greater,the ability of students to solve problems is improve too.The experimental results show that the appropriate application of variant teaching can cultivate students' thinking ability and improve teaching quality.
