Tennis is a complex court game,as athletes are required to use most parts of their muscle groups when batting the ball,also with high requirements for segment control and movement quality.Functional movement test,as an authoritative test for movement quality appraisal,has been gradually applied into the tennis major research,which has a positive influence and is of vital significance for tennis sports development.After long-term training and competitions with high intensity,tennis athletes are prone to sports injuries.With reference to related literature,a limited number of researches have been conducted on the functional movement test and injury of the tennis project,at home or abroad.It is innovation that a survey is done on the training stages of tennis students from perspectives of different grades,which has not been manifested in previous surveys.Research subjects include tennis-specialized undergraduates from four grades of Sports Education School of Beijing Sport University.The objective is to explore characteristics of functional movement and sports injury of specialized students during their four years of training and discover common grounds between functional movement and sports injury,through a research on all training stages of undergraduates from four grades.The significance of the thesis lies in that tennis-specialized teachers and students can draw from it in aspects of functional movement and sports injury on grounds of data analysis,and the paper provides suggestions on a better sports quality development and movement performance for students in all grades,and direction to reduce sports injury.At the same time,reference could be offered to the ensuing related researches.Underpinned by functional movement and sports injury,the research method consists of data collection of Functional Movement Screen(FMS)and of sports injury questionnaires,and a data summary conducted from statistics.FMS,a rather comprehensive movement appraisal system,observes and finds asymmetry and compensatory movement through ranking the basic model of human body movements,thus assessing athletes' functional movements of the current stage.So far,the test has been widely used in the physical training appraisal and injury analysis.Results and conclusions find that the tennis-specialized sports of undergraduate level has effects on four basic movements for a certain stage,including shoulder flexibility,straight leg lift,trunk stability push up,and trunk rotation stability,and the stability of trunk is a widespread weakness of research subjects.The research discovers that 83% specialized students had injuries,with shoulder joint,wrist joint and ankle joint being the major parts vulnerable to injuries,with more chronic injuries than acute ones,and a relatively large proportion of strains and sprains.Multiple injuries occur during practices,competitions,and technical training,reminding specialized teachers to pay more attention to the injury prevention of above aspects.
