Nursing Undergraduates’ Choosing Career Motivation And Influence Factors Analysis

Objective: In this paper, through investigation and analysis of undergraduate nursing students career motivation characteristics, from the subjective internal and external objective factors to investigate undergraduate nursing students’ motivation, understand the reason why they choose the profession, to improve the nursing undergraduates employment mental health,establish the correct employment view provides guidance, for medical college students and employment guidance, it provide theoretical basis, and for hospital, it provide a theoretical reference to the selection of hospital nurses .Methods: This study used cluster sampling method to undergraduate nursing students made career motivation questionnaire as a research tool to investigate 540 nursing students anonymously. Collecting and analyzing the data, using Excel database table, SPSS 16.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: the nursing undergraduate career motivation into the middle level, occupation interests affect the 10 dimensions of the highest and lowest chance factors. II in baccalaureate nursing students choosing profession motive of the 10 dimensions,professional treatment,occupational prestige, family influence, influence policy, education and causal factors of undergraduate nursing students in different grades career motivation had no effect on the statistical significance. Occupation interest, self evaluation, occupation planning, Occupation Expectation and career motivation have influence on the evaluation of undergraduate nursing students in different grades (P < 0.05). Thirdly, in all the items of nursing career motivation affect the largest of the five items are "think nursing work can contribute and lots of fun","likes to help others", "felt the nurse is relatively stable, life is guaranteed", "nursing work have the opportunity to learn a lot of, for your development and growth," the employment situation is grim, the profession is more in line with the reality of your situation."Conclusion: the overall motivation of undergraduate nursing students was in the middle level,and there was a difference in different grades of nursing undergraduates’ career motivation.
