In the study of second language acquisition, teaching feedback on students' English writing has received great attention, many researchers studied corrective feedback from students' perspective. Although a number of studies have been conducted on teaching feedback on students' English writing, there is still no clear conclusion, most researches focus on college students' response, but few studies research the attitude and requirement of high school students toward teaching feedback in English writing. Meanwhile, few studies research the influences of teachers' corrective feedback on students' English writing. The present study was designed on the basis of the relevant studies to investigate the effects of teachers' corrective feedback on improving high school students' grammatical accuracy of the active voice, the passive voice and subject-verb agreement in their English writing. To further explore the influences of teachers' corrective feedback on improving the students' English writing, under the guidance of Output Theory, Attention Theory and Noticing Hypothesis, the author aims to answer the three questions listed as follows:1) Among the three types of teacher feedback (oral meta-linguistic explanation feedback, oral meta-linguistic explanation+underlying feedback, oral meta-linguistic explanation+underlying error+corrections of errors) adopted in the present study, which has the most effectiveness on improving students' accuracy in avoiding the two target error categories (the active voice, the passive voice and subject-verb agreement)?2) Do the three types of teacher feedback produce durable effects on improving the students' awareness and competence in avoiding the two target error categories?3)The results of the study are listed:No.1 Teachers' corrective feedback has effects on improving the accuracy in avoiding the two error categories in English writing; No.2 The third feedback (oral meta-linguistic explanation+underling error+corrections of errors) performs the most effectiveness in a short-time period on improving students' writing accuracy; No.3 these three corrective feedback strategies can produce durable effects on improving students' writing accuracy in avoiding the two error categories. At last, pedagogical implications to improve teacher feedback practices are addressed.
