With the practice of social work participating in community rehabilitation, social workers provide long-term professional services for drug addicts accepting the community rehabilitation through methods of case counseling, resources linking, and family relationship repairing, achieving a remarkable success for reducing the relapse rate, crime prevention, and helping addicts return to society, etc. However, compared with other areas, social workers for drug abuse face more serious occupational environment, such as the relapse of service object, limited resources, the general public's stigma to service object, the lack of professional ability, and so on.In theory, these challenges will be a risk factor in the development of their career. But from the practice, the turnover of rehabilitation social work is markedly lower than in other areas.furthermore, their professional identity is also higher. This phenomenon aroused the author's research interest in the process of their occupational adaptation and identity. In the specific study, this article based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, regarding 8 social workers of the rehabilitation project of institution X as research objects, exploring their occupational adaptation and approval process.According to the results of the study, occupational adaptation and identity of anti-drug social workers is a complex and dynamic equilibrium process. No matter in which stage, their career are always full of certain risk factors, stimulating and strengthening the resilience of anti-drug social worker. In this process, the inner and outer protective factors of resilience against with risk factors, gradually eliminating the crisis of career development. Thus, their career get to the next state, which is a spiral process. The study found that resilience level of anti-drug social workers is higher, and It is that played a huge role in the process of occupational adaptation and identity. On the mechanism of action, the three elements of resilience, namely, external supporting environment(I have),inherent advantaged factors(I am)and efficiency factor(I can)have played a role in the initial stage,mid-career,and the late career. To be specific,in the initial stage, the factors of internal advantage played a role, which competed with risk factors such as the lack of professional ability, poor external supporting environment, helping them completed the vocational adjustment. The mid-career was the most obvious stage that internal risks and external risks collide with each other. So,in this stage, the three elements of resilience combined together to work, making social workers into the career plateau from shocks, and contributing to the identity from exogenous generation to endogenous generation. In the professional plateau, clear professional norms make the career goals and sense of worth for anti-drug social workers more clearly, completing their professional identity goals. On this basis, according to the characteristics at various stages of anti-drug social worker, this paper discussed how to play the role of resilience more effectively,so as to promote the occupational adaptation and identity of anti-drug social worker.
