Research On The Improvement Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Students Under The Concept Of “Strengthening Morality Education”

College students are the future builders and successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and they are bearing the country's future and the nation's hope.The quality of college students has direct relations not only with the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,it also has more relations with whether China could quickly achieve the grand goal of socialist construction.Ideological and political education of college students is the key way to foster college students to grow into qualified successors.However,under the influence of globalization nowadays,the views,values and ideology of college students are being impacted by the western capitalist culture gradually.Meanwhile,with the opening up of China's market economy,the increasingly diversified social economy,the way of employment and interest distribution have brought many new situations and problems to the ideological and political education of college students.The report of the 18 thNational Congress of CPC clearly stated that “We should take strengthening morality education as the fundamental task of education and train socialist builders and successors featuring an all-round development in morality,intelligence,physique and art”.This milestone-statement strongly and effectively answered the question “What kind of people should we cultivate and how to cultivate ”,which is important to the prospect and fortune of the Party and the country.It also profoundly interpreted the essential attributes of ideological and political education of college students and put forward higher requirements for further strengthening and improving ideological and political education of college students.Under this new situation,it has become a new and pressing problem for ideology and politics educator in colleges and universities concerning how to integrate “strengthening morality education” into ideological and political education of college students.In view of this,based on Marxist stand,viewpoint and method and with the methods of literature collection,integrating theory with practice and systematic analysis,this paper clearly states the new requirements for ideological and political education of college students put forward by “strengthening morality education” and thoroughly analyzes the necessity of integrate “strengthening morality education” into ideological and political education of college students from the perspective of education standard,education content and education effect.On the basis of the new requirements for ideological and political education of college students put forward by “strengthening morality education”,this paper also specifically points out the problems existing in ideological and political education and attempts to realize the all-dimensional,multi-angle innovation in ideological and political education of college students from the perspective of updating the concept,enriching the content,innovating the methods,strengthening team construction and building effective mechanism,and explore effective ways of ideological and political education,so as to practically improve thepertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education of college students.
