With the rapid development of modern educational technology,micro class was acknowledged by more and more people because of its advanced features,such as the small amount of content with highlight theme and the simplicity.As a new form of teaching resource,micro class has been applied to the biology classes in high schools.Its quality has a distinct impact on the effects of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning as well.Nowadays,scientific evaluation of micro class had played a vital role in the design of micro class resources,management,and the teaching of high school biology course.However,researches about micro class quality evaluation have still been at the stage of theoretical exploration.There are few studies about micro class quality evaluation system,let alone the empirical research reports.Therefore,this study aimed to use scientific methods to build a reasonable evaluation system of micro class,so as to make up for the lack of studies about micro class quality evaluation system and provide a reference and a theoretical guidance to lesson designs and micro class application.Based on the analyses of micro class evaluation at home and abroad,surveys and principal component analysis were used in this study to have a comprehensive analysis and a deliberate discussion about basic principles,objectives,research suppositions,index system and reliability and validity of the micro class evaluation system.Then,an empirical test was carried on the system and some corresponding suggestions about micro classes were put forward based on the results of the study.The evaluation data above implied that the evaluation system of micro class in this study had been proved to be scientific and reasonable.The main factors affecting the quality of micro classes were listed as followed:(1)some teachers’ computer operation level did not match the need of micro class design;(2)the cultivation of emotional attitudes and the establishment of values in the process of micro class design and application were ignored;(3)micro class application design lack of rationality.Therefore,some suggestions were given in this papers to improve the quality of micro class.Firstly,paying attention to the artistic and technical index of class design requirements.Secondly,attaching importance to the cultivation of students’ emotional attitudes and values.Thirdly,focusing on the rationality of design and application of micro class.Finally,carrying out some seminars to exchange experience about micro class design application.
