The ideological and political theory course is one of the most important courses of public compulsory courses in colleges and universities.It is the main way to spread our party's guiding ideology and ruling concept in colleges and universities.Meantime,the course is the main form to help college students establish the correct view of value,world outlook and the outlook on life value.College students are the backbone of the social development,but also the future national reserve.College students' awareness and understanding of idea to the ideological and political theory courses reflect development and trends of thought of the College students the present China.If the college students themselves have positive ideology condition,then this kind of situation will have profound influence to the social development and social progress.From the perspective of cognitive,this paper studies college students' cognition of the ideological and political theory course,and obtains results and problem of students' cognitive after the 18 th CPC National Congress.Then this paper will put forward some suggestion to improve the cognition of university students.Through improving the students' cognition,then college students' view and behavior will be affected.This thesis is divided into five sections.The first part mainly involves the research background and the goal of the ideological and political theory course,and and the research situation of the subject at home and abroad.This section is on the basis of questionnaire survey.The second part defines the related concepts.The third part is questionnaire and data analysis.The questionnaire has five aspects and include the curriculum value,teachers,teaching contents,teaching methods,teaching effect.The fourth part is according to the questionnaire results,obtains achievements,the main problems and analyzes the reasons.The last part proposed measures and suggestion.
