Research On The Construction Of Private University Professional Skills Verification Institution

With the development of the global economy and the rapid rise of manufacturing industry,the requirements for practitioners in all walks of life in China are "high level professional skills'',much more than "high degree".So,like many developed countries in the world,as a strategic measure for human resources development,the "Double Certificates System" emphasizing the same importance of professional certificate and diploma will be launched;also,"launching the verification of professional skills and promoting the system of professional qualification certificate" will be an important measure to implement the strategic guidance of "revitalizing the nation through science and education"Private universities in China are mainly aiming at cultivating talents with knowledge,technical skills as well as complex skills,and providing the society as well as the enterprises with those "Double High" talents who are highly educated and have high skills with both theory and skills.This is more in line with the current needs of national economic development for application-oriented talents and more conducive to "Double Certificates System".Also,the country has greatly encouraged and supported private universities in their verification of professional skills in respect of the national policies and regulations.The thesis has five chapters.Using related research results as source of reference,combining theoretic research with case research as research methods,taking the actual work of the professional skills verification station of Sanjiang University as a case,as well as combining the learning motivation inspiring theory,the process based incentive theory and higher education marketization theory,the thesis analyzed and summarized several problems appearing in the construction of professional skills verification institutions in private universities,also the thesis suggested some reasonable corresponding solutions.The innovation of this thesis lies in the fact that current research is more focused on aspects like the policy making,implementing,etc.of Labor Department and Professional Skills Verification Department,while not much focus is on constructing those professional skills verification institutions in private universities which are more market oriented and whose various systems are more flexible.Taking private universities professional skills verification institutions as research target,and the professional skills verification institution of Sanjiang University as a case in point,the thesis conducted an all-around research,which can,to some extent,make up for the gap in this area.In combination with existing marketization policy of higher education and vocational education,with the educational market needs and enterprises employment needs in China under the "new normal" economic development,the thesis put forward positive suggestions which are a virtuous cycle in favor of university development,student employment and social enterprise development,thus is of great practical meaning.
