Under the era of information explosion, lifelong learning has become a social themes. In order to adapt the development of lifelong education concept, in order to improve the learning ability of students, to solve the deficiency of today's high school students'scientific reading skills, the author embarks from cultivating students learning ability, and explores the training strategies with characteristics of chemistry discipline. The purpose of this study is to reflect the education idea of attaching great importance to the practice not value reading for a long time in my country, provide some advice on training strategies in reading teaching for chemical teachers at the same time, enable the theory to serve the practice teaching after the curriculum reform, let the teaching practice guided by correct theory can develop better.First of all, this study look up the related literature of other education researchers, and with the help of the chemistry reading behaviors currently of the high students compile the questionnaire. Secondly, the author use the computer software to analysis the questionnaire. The key point of the article is according to the results of the questionnaire survey and teaching practice to put forward some specific teaching strategies to develop chemical reading ability.The last, under the guidance of the ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standard, the author make a study of teaching practice, and obtain the conclusion that cultivating consciously students reading ability can directly promote students learning ability.
