Since the new curriculum reform, great changes have taken place in people’s concept of teaching.The reform emphasized the "student-centered" concept of education focusing on all-round development of the students. Situational Teaching Method is a kind of teaching method widely recognized by the education sector. More and more teachers have realized the importance of creating teaching situation in biology classroom, and have carried out related research on that. It is a common problem in each country that Students have learning difficulties. There are many students with learning difficulties in each subject.For the students who have learning difficulties in biology course, this difficulty is not conducive to improving the student’s scientific quality of biology and will hinder the all-round development of them.At present, our education experts and scholars have made more research for how to transform underachieves.In this article, the author apply situational teaching method to transform the students with learning difficulties which based on previous relevant theoretical research and teaching experience and the method of consulting literatures and experimental research. The author has also do some preliminary exploration about the transformation of the students with learning difficulties. In this paper the author selected the senior two students with learning difficulty in biology as subjects,they were sophomore students of six class and seven class in the second high school which located on Henan Province, xin yang City, xinxian.The experimental group of six class adopted the situational teaching method mainly and the main method of control group seven class was the traditional teaching method. After a semester, the author analyzed the biology learning achievement change of biological trapped students in the two classes, and found that the slow learners’ biology score in experimental class had been improved, the slow learners’biology score in control class had no significant change. The results show that Situational teaching has a certain effect to transform students with learning difficulties of biology, improve their biological achievement and stimulate their interest in learning.
