The Analysis Of The Challenges And Opportunities For The Development Of Tennis Sports Under The Big Data Background

The big data has a profound and lasting impact on the development of human society. It is the outcome of rapid development of science and internet. Statistics and analysis of big data plays a significant role in the sports domain. The bid data leads an innovation of the whole sports domain and it becomes an irreplaceable force for the development of the competitive sports. Universities and Colleges are like a big garden house that has bred and educated countless of excellent students and experts for the society, so it is necessary to catch up the change of the generation and seize the opportunities that has brought by the new era. The application of big data on education and the value to education by analyzing the big data has not been recognized by most of the schools. There should be more supporters from school employees that votes for big data as an education tool. School staff whose work is related to sports should promote the awareness of big data between each other and strengthen the usage of it, as the big data is able to help them to create innovative teaching model for sports lessons.This paper uses literature study, logical analysis, investigation method and quantitative survey. By doing research from 26 universities and colleges in Chongqing, we can analyze and find out the challenges and opportunities that are faced them when they are developing tennis under the big data background. We will also discuss between traditional tennis teaching model and innovative teaching model under big data background, as well as provide a referable direction for colleges and universities to develop tennis.After the investigation and research, we found out there are 63 universities and colleges in total in Chongqing by 23 rd May 2015. We have proposed the opportunities and challenges when the schools are developing tennis. The first opportunity is big data urged the recognition of sports, more people realized the value and importance of sports; the second one is big data has promoted the popularity of tennis; the third one is big data has enhanced the social function of playing tennis; last but not the least, the big data has boost the business marketing of tennis. Meanwhile, the first challenge is we notice the lack of professional tennis teachers in schools for the traditional teaching method; the second one is the difficulties of combining traditional teaching model and innovative teaching model for tennis lessons; the third one is how to use big data to solve the problem of high demand but low usage of tennis courts in schools; lastly, how to protect the privacy while revealing some of the data to public.The development of tennis in colleges and universities cannot do without the developing of sports in the society. It should respect the environment and welcome the new opportunities and challenges. Making use of the big data to remit the limitation, solve the challenges and create innovative teaching model is the preferable way for sports development in universities and colleges.
