The constantly increasing communication between China and Korea invokes the persistent craze for learning Chinese, which makes it possible that the CPIK comes into being. The adopted teaching mode that Korean Chinese teachers teach Chinese with the assistant of Chinese volunteer teachers in the class fails to take effect practically.Meanwhile, students with great study pressure is incapable to take permanent interest in and generate long lasting motive in the traditional Chinese class. In this situation, the author regards the task-based teaching method as the solution to the current problems.Given by the practice in the Chinese teaching class in Korean high school, this paper follows the guide of theoretical basis of task-based approach to show the teaching process in the task-based class with the analysis of the situation in Korean high school and the Chinese class cases. The Chinese teaching class in Korea is carried out in the form of Chinese and Korean teachers working together in the class. This paper explores how to design the class and build the task-based class on both Chinese and Korean teachers’ merits. Besides, the cooperation between Chinese universities and Korean high school makes it possible that the task-based approach can take into effect not only in but out of the class. The second class is built by the task-based approach, which cultivates students’ practical ability to use Chinese by stimulating students out-put of Chinese and enhancing the ability of oral expression and communication in Chinese. The domestic research on teaching Chinese as a foreign language focus on the short term Chinese training for foreign students. However, there is no research targeted for high school students with no knowledge of Chinese in the non-target language environment. In addition, Chinese class in Korea has its particularity owing to the Team-teaching between Chinese and Korean teachers. It is a new research orientation to explore how to take the task-based approach in to effect with the Team-teaching.
