The new curriculum reform promotes the inquiry learning in the range of depth, which has injected new vitality to the language classroom, and with the penetration in all aspects of learning, Chinese reading teaching is gradually showing a new look. But because of the exam-oriented education, and the backward economic, cultural and other aspects of the limit, in some backward areas, especially in the rural areas in the remote mountain, although the development of inquiry learning is struggling, but a lot of problems still exist in the Chinese reading teaching. This article is based on the questionnaires and classroom observation of some students and teachers of Qingjian County, Yulin City, Shaan'xi Province, and combined with the author's own teaching experience. The research-type learning in Chinese reading teaching put forward their own opinions, from four aspects to discuss related problems. The first part, it is about the research overview of reading, the discussion of the importance of reading teaching and the development of the research reading and the necessity of the research-type learning in reading teaching. The second part, it is the analysis of the questionnaire and interviews, summed up the current accomplishment in Chinese reading teaching, then, the auhtor points out many problems existing in the current reading teaching, in the final,it is the analysis of these problems.The third part, the author talks about "compulsory education standard of Chinese course " and "ordinary high school standard of Chinese course standard of Chinese course" on the teaching of reading from four aspects. The fourth part, it is according to the requirements of the curriculum standards, combined with the author's own teaching practice and experience, from the perspective of each link of the teaching of reading on how to in Chinese reading teaching to talk about their own proposals to develop the inquiry learning.
