Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs) has brought great impact and influence for higher education and Online education since it was produced from 2008.Using text mining methods, this paper analysis research hotspot of MOOCs of domestic and international study by text mining software and statistical software, and compares the similarities and differences between domestic and foreign research. Data source from MOOCs research literature of the SCI database and CNKI China hornet core periodical database, a total of 3406 articles. Based on bibliometric methods of word analysis, the dissimilarity matrix by keyword to cluster analysis, literature to get the 6 types of international MOOCs research group and the domestic researches on the MOOCs nine types. Using the method of factor analysis, comparative analysis domestic and foreign hotspot of MOOCs research.MOOCS research strategy coordinate diagram is drew and it is based on data visualization analysis method. It has analyzed the current situation of the development of all kinds of group predicted the focus of research in the future. Using the social network analysis method to draw the knowledge map, from the time dimension, compared with the domestic and foreign MOOCs theme of the leading edge evolution trend both domestic and foreign.Based on the visual analysis of comparison results it shows that the current MOOCs research scope expands unceasingly, content in depth continuously. In breadth of research, study abroad than domestic, and in the depth of the research, domestic than foreign. At present, foreign MOOCs research emphasis for students learning quality and teaching effect evaluation, operation cost and sustainable development. Domestic MOOCs research priorities for as a new education approach to learning, teachers must master the Internet technology and the characteristics of online education, reform teaching contents and teaching methods.
