| After many year’s development, private vocational colleges, as a form of private higher education in China, have become an important part of higher education in China. While having developed rapidly in recent years, however, they are faced with an austere reality that the loss of teachers, especially young backbone teachers, is imposing a serious effect on the stabilization and construction of their teaching staff, reducing their school operation levels and competitiveness. It is this background that this article makes a research on the issue of loss of teachers in private vocational Z colleges in Hunan.First, it gives clear definitions to related concepts such as private vocational colleges, loss of teachers in private vocational colleges. Second, based on analyzing the current status of the loss of teachers in private vocational colleges in Hunan, it selects the privately-owned Z Vocational Colleges as a case for study. Through combing ways of questionnaires and interviews, it analyzes and comes out with the factors causing the loss of teachers in private vocational colleges in Hunan in college human resources management. Finally, the paper put emphases on effective measures to control teachers’ turnover, such as establishing an effective recruitment policy and a reasonable training system, perfect compensation system and vocation career programming for the preference of management. |
