| Against the backdrop of growing information technology and economic globalization,traditional folk music culture seems to have lost the economic base and turns into desert land.Combined with the impact of multiculturalism,traditional musical culture is facing a huge challenge.It is imperative to save traditional musical heritage and increase efforts to protect traditional musical culture.The government and the whole society are making efforts to protect traditional culture and key cultural heritage,save endangered cultural heritage and strengthen the education of traditional culture.Accordingly it provides a new opportunity for the development of traditional music and education is an important way to protect traditional folk music.Music lessons are compulsory courses in the basic education and important areas of humanities and one important way to implement aesthetic education.The value of music lessons appear not only in the aesthetic experience and creative value,but also in social interaction and cultural heritage.Therefore,it has become a hot issue in music curricular reform of primary and middle schools to strengthen the traditional music education,maintain the national identity in music lessons effectively,develop curriculum resources deeply,inherit traditional national culture based on musical education,and set up the national spirit.According to investigation of the development of traditional folk music in primary and middle schools of Hebei Province,this paper makes a systematic analysis of the selection of textbooks,curriculum,education practice,discusses about the causes of problems in traditional musical education.In terms of teaching environment:the problem of westernization in music education left over by the fact that school songs advocate that we should learn from the west;the impact of fast-paced social activities and multiculture has added stress on traditional folk music;schools and parents place emphasis on the proportion of students entering schools of a higher level and neglect musical education and traditional folk.In terms of textbooks:the out-dated content of the traditional folk music does not keep pace with students’ interests and abilities;the resources development of traditional musical education is not enough.In terms of teachers:mus ical teachers of primary and secondary schools lack of taste in traditional national music caused by Western music teaching system;people neglect national music in the context of multicultural development;the awareness of inheriting traditional folk music is low.In terms of students:lack of interest of traditional folk music;have no specific purpose of learning traditional folk music.Faced with current situation of traditional folk music teaching in primary and secondary schools in Hebei province,this paper makes suggestions on strengthening education of traditional folk music of primary and secondary schools,promoting the sound development of it,based on the economic development and special cultural advantages of Hebei.First,primary and secondary schools should be clear of teaching idea,teaching goals,the value of their teaching,make a systematic and scientific selection of traditional folk music textbooks,and adopt flexible teaching methods,strengthen construction of elementary and secondary teachers in Hebei Province,build up a huge contingent of quality talents,and promote the smooth development of teaching work.I hope that these constructive comments can promote the sound development of traditional folk music of primary and secondary education in Hebei Province,and make effort to the heritage of traditional national culture. |
