The Research On The Community Integration Of The Floating Population

Whether the floating population can live and integrate in harmony with the former residents or not, will closely relate to the harmony and stability of the community,ultimately affecting the process of urbanization and modernization.In this paper,we find that the factors which influence the integration of the floating population into community are various. They are not only affected by the willingness and ability of the floating population, but also by the acceptance of the original inhabitants, as well as the policy and activitiesin communities.There are many elements which will directly affect the integration of the community,such as the economic basis of the floating population,their cultural level, the type of their profession, the charact eristics of their jobs, their age and gender, the network resources, etc. The personal conditions of the floating population have more direct influence upon their integration into new community, and the attitudes of the original inhabitants towards the floating population are also have more influence.The willingness to accept them between socialelite and ordinary inhabitants are totally different. The higher the overall quality of the elite and less pressure from the flow of personnel,especially business owners need to bring the flow of labor resources and consumer market, so the integration of the floating population is basically a positive attitude to accept.. Because of their own interests, Ordinary residents more to resist,exclusion and discrimination of floating population.In addition, here are some other reasons,such as Wenzhou's remote location, unique cultural characteristics of the Wen Shang,and the difficult dialects and so on.In order to promote the community integration, we need more positive acceptance of the public, which needs the joint efforts of the community organizations including the government and civil society organizations. Combined with the community organization platform, changing service concept, improving the quality of residents, establish the mechanism of equality and mutual assistance, protect the equal enjoyment of public resources, reduce the cost of the system, and promote the integration of different cultures through various activities. We can also promote the floating population to participate in community activities through various forms of community platform to accelerate the integration of groups.
