With the development of society,education has aroused great concern from people,and it affects people's personal growth more and more.In this era of the rapid development of science and technology,our world is bursting with knowledge,students have to absorb more knowledge.The traditional mode of teaching,which might be a little monotonous,can easily make students get bored,especially when confronting with physics.We all know that physics is comparatively difficult with other subjects,if we only adopt the cramming system and extensive practice,students may become hating to study instead.Physics is a kind of natural science based on experiment,by itself,it is an interesting subject,but it is influenced by many other factors such as teaching methods,difficulty of knowledge points,the stress of examinations,all these factors make students lose interest in physics.The development of modern science and technology and the media not only changed people's life,but also increasingly affected the teaching methods of teachers and the learning styles of students.students manifest much interest in electronic games,Interest is the best teacher in study.Given this situation,this paper is about how to increase the students' interests of studying physics by means of electronic games.This paper adopts a variety of methods,such as researching documents,empirical study and so on.First,this paper analyzes the great influences of video games on education,it expounds the function of games in people's development from the perspectives of behaviorism,constructionist and humanism,respectively.Then,it discusses the effects of learning motivation and interest in the learning process,meanwhile,it analyzes and explores the characteristics of the students' cognitivedevelopment and the cause of difficulties in learning physics in order to find appropriate ways to cultivate learning interest in physics by means of electronic games.Furthermore,this paper takes the game “Angry Birds” as an example to design the teaching content of projectile motion,which is a staple of high school physics.It fully exploits the physical knowledge in this game,and then tries to make students understand and master the physical concepts and laws over the course of the game by combining the game with physical learning.Finally,this paper analyzes the development prospects and difficulties of bringing games into the classroom teaching.
