Writing is a comprehensive skill in language learning.It can reflect students' language skills and play an important role in training students' abilities of using English.However,in the traditional teaching model,teachers may spare too much effort on vocabulary and grammar while ignoring the teaching of writing.There are no complete teaching plans and writing is regarded as an instant way to deal with exams.This traditional teaching model makes students be lacking in interest in writing and it can't improve students' writing ability.Interactive teaching model reflects the dominant position of the students and strengthens the interaction between students and teachers.By creating a multilateral interactive teaching situation,it stimulates the initiative and exploration of teachers and students.It can increase the language input and output,intrigue students' interest in English writing and cultivate students' writing ability.This thesis combines interactive teaching model with Input and Output Hypothesis and applies it to English writing teaching.It's a new perspective for studying interactive teaching model.The subjects of this experiment were chosen from two parallel classes of Grade One in No.2 Senior High School in Lvshun,Liaoning Province.The result of the pre-test proved that the English writing ability was similar,so the author randomly selected Class Four as the experiment class and applied interactive teaching model to English writing,and Class Five as the control class using the traditional teaching method to teach English writing.The whole process of the research was from September 2015 to January 2016.This study obtains the valid data through pre-test,post-test,questionnaire and interview and then analyzes the data with the aid of Excel 2010 and SPSS 20.0.The result of the experiment shows interactive teaching model can effectively simulate students' interest in English writing and improve the students' writing ability.However,in spite of the expected results,there are some problems in the research due to the limitation of objective factors.Therefore,the writer will continuously improve and perfect the study in the future.Hopefully,this research can lay a good foundation for further research on this topic.
