The relationship between teachers and students is one of the most important factors in education system, is the footstone of supporting education. The construction for the relationship is particularly important. However, the traditional perspective of the teacher-student relationship limited in the class teaching, construction of it also presents many shortcomings, such as: the construction content and way are single, the effect of construction is transitory.Therefore, the diversity of construction is very necessary.The Interaction Ritual Chains of Randall Collins elaborated its origin, constituent elements, operation mechanism and application. IRs is the interactive structure formed by human contact continuously in the specific situation. This structure extends continuously in time and space, thus forming a huge chain structure. Mutual concern and emotional joint are its core mechanism. The mutual concern is the basis of connection, emotional energy is not only the result of interaction ritual, but also the capital investment people should carry out in interaction. The construction of the teacher-student relationship just like a small social structure, it is the structure of teachers and students made by associations and interactions. Teachers and students put emotion into the interaction, through the transformer——IR, the emotion becomes the emotional energy. The emotional energy is a long-term and stable emotion. Through the interaction, teachers and students get emotional energy, and this important experience and emotion will appear circularly in their life, forming a powerful driving force. Emotional energy play an important role in the construction of the teacher-student relationship The theory of Interaction Ritual Chains provides theoretical explanation to the teacher-student relationship, provides a new perspective for the construction of it.This research based on the Theory of Interaction Ritual Chains of Randall Collins, defines the teacherstudent relationship. It is the teachers and students in their unique position, put different cultural capital and emotional energy into interaction, in this way form the teacher-student relationship. During the process of interaction, teachers and students develop common focus, accumulate emotional energy to complete the teaching mission, achieving common development.This study adopts the method of literature research, introducing and analyzing the teacher-student relationship and the theory of Interaction Ritual Chains. There are four problems in the process of construction, such as spontaneity of construction activities, oneness of construction contents, unidirectional of construction way, unsystematic of the construction power. From the perspective of the theory of Interaction Ritual Chains, the construction of the teacher-student relationship should become selfconsciousness, diversification, diversity and concentration.
