Rousseau is a famous eighteenth century French thinker, philosopher and educator, is also one of the outstanding representatives of the French Revolution and the Enlightenment thought leader. His civic education thought occupy an important position in its "moral community" political conception, is considered to be a "Copernican Revolution" in the field of education, his civic education in France and the rest of the world have a major impact.Study Rousseau Citizen Education has an important guiding significance for the training of citizen awareness and break the predicament of moral education. Therefore, this article will come from four aspects to elaborate the Rousseau's civic education thought and enlightenment.First of all, the first part describes the generation of Rousseau's civic education thought.This part is mainly for the to be produced historical background and theoretical basis comb of Rousseau's civic education thought. Since Rousseau's personal experience had a greater influence on the formation of Rousseau's thought, therefore, to illustrate the reasons of Rousseau's civic education thought to be generated, we must understand his personal experience and explain the impact of these important experiences in the life of Rousseau.Further, as a great philosopher, Rousseau's natural philosophy also has an important influence for the formation of Rousseau's civic education thought, which is also a reflection of the thinking of Rousseau consistency.Of course, the generation of Rousseau's civic education thought has its important theoretical basis, that is the important influence of Plato and Aristotle Citizen Education for Rousseau.Only to clarify these relationships, we can have a good interpretation of the main content of Rousseau's civic education thought.Secondly, the second part of this article is intended to expound the main content of Rousseau's civic education thought. By reading the works of Rousseau, we can find that his civic education thought has internal logic and consistency. For the approach that Rousseau foster "good citizens", it mainly in the three stages of his set:natural education, social education and citizen education stage for the main shaft. Therefore,the main contents of Rousseau's civic education thought also from the three aspects, namely natural education is the logical starting point of his civic education, social education is the reality of his civic education, and the citizen education is a key link in the process of citizen's cultivation and the building of moral community. From this we can also see the systemic of Rousseau's civic education thought and his citizen education goals and objectives. And only fully understand the main contents of Rousseau's civic education thought, we will understand why Rousseau put forward the practice of civic education path.Third, the third part of this article explains the practical path of Rousseau's civic education thought. The practical path of Rousseau's civic education thought can be divided into two different ways, namely the citizens and their respective countries should play different roles in the process of citizen education. In particular, the state should fully carry out public education and the creation of civil religion, which is not only conducive to the country to play its oversight role, but also for the citizens to voluntarily accept the citizen education and recognition of civic education provides a good social atmosphere and the social security.Compared with the national, citizen as an individual in the process of citizen education should do the following things: consciously accept the guidance of the general will of the highest social and travelage phase. The practical path of civic education thought that was put forward by Rousseau, not only give fully play to the role of the nation's security, and also promoted the citizen individual initiative, enthusiasm and the cultivation of citizen consciousness. But only under the joint effect of the state and citizens, civic education thought to be successful practice.Fourth, the fourth part of this article describes the influence of Rousseau's civic education thought and contemporary enlightenment. Through to the first three parts of the article comb, we can see the enthusiasm and historical limitations of Rousseau's civic education thought, and on this basis to dig the essence part of civic education thought, so as to expound the enlightenment of Rousseau's civic education thought to the civic education thought of our country. Of course, these enlightenments must be based on China's basic national conditions as the basis to expand discussed.Although Rousseau's civic education thought has its inevitable historical limitations, but in general, enthusiasm is still the main motivation of his civic education thought. So, we can learn from the best part of Rousseau civic education thought for our use,and promote the socialist modernization construction of our country.
