For many years’development, China Secondary Vocational Education (hereinafter short as "SVE") has trained plenty of basic professionals & technicians and made great contribution to China social and economic development. However, with China economy develops into new century, the contradiction of "technician shortage" and "difficult employment" arouses social concern. The issue extends to vocational education, especially SVE which plays the fundamental role of training skilled labors, we can find "what kind of talents to be trained" and "how to train" are still the basic questions, and closely connect China SVE talents training mode.Employment-oriented SVE talents training mode (hereinafter short as "Mode") is an inevitable trend and developmental direction. By analyzing the concept and theory related to the mode, reviewing and summarizing the typical mode of foreign counties, such as the "dual system" of Germany, the "cooperation education" of America, the "TAFF" of Australia, the "sandwich course" of United Kingdom etc., the author reveals that vocational education must combine with enterprise demand; Moreover, by introducing the domestic typical examples of school-enterprise integration, work-integrated learning, make-to-order school, the author concludes that China SVE shall adopt the employment-oriented mode to train the talents. Furthermore, taking Guangxi Y School as an example, by analyzing the disadvantages of traditional talents training mode, e.g. unclear target, major setup apart from market demand, copying the common senior college education system, out-dated teaching method and means, unreasonable teachers team structure, incomplete appraisal system etc. the author probes the existing issues of traditional talent training mode from external social environment and internal school environment. Finally, based on this, the author makes a proposal that set up the employment-oriented majors, attach importance to the capability training, create the course system, adopt effective measures to improve the teaching methods and means, strengthen the teacher team building, establish effective performance evaluation system to accomplish the construction of the Mode, make the SOE talents truly satisfy the need of society and serve for economic development.
