Effective teaching is the guarantee of improving the quality of teaching, which includes teachers'effective teaching and students'effective learning. Therefore, it is necessary to study teachers'teaching behavior and students' learning behavior in the study of classroom teaching. It is one of the important research topics which binds the discipline with students'learning behavior in the classroom. In order to conduct students'learning behavior well, the primary problem is to study the learning behavior of students in geography class and establish the standard of observation and evaluation of students'learning behavior in geography classroom. In this paper, the author takes the learning behavior of senior high school students in geography classroom as the research object, and tries to establish the learning behavior observation and evaluation index system of geography classroom to provide a reference to observe and evaluate the learning behavior of students in geography classroom.This study mainly includes six parts. The author makes a brief analysis on the current study of the students' learning behavior in the geography classroom, and puts forward the necessity of this study in the first part. Secondly, the author elaborates the constructive basis of observation and evaluation index system of senior high school students'learning behavior in geography classroom, and lays the basic foundation for the establishment of the observation and evaluation index system. Thirdly, the method and process of establishing the observation and evaluation index system are described. Fourth, the composition of the students'learning behavior observation and evaluation index system includes the composition of the observation and evaluation index system, the description of the index and the evaluation criteria. The Fifth part is the practical study, the author applies students'learning behavior observation and evaluation index system of geography and also studies its adaptability and operation in the classroom. The sixth part is the conclusion.The research methods of this paper include the literature analysis method, the questionnaire survey method and the empirical research method. There are mainly three stages in this paper. The first stage is the design of the first draft of observation and evaluation index system; the second stage is the questionnaire investigation and study and the third is the practice research. The observation and evaluation index system is mainly composed 6 indexes and 22 secondary indexes. The 6 indexes are:observing, listening and note-taking behavior, reading and analyzing the text material behavior, reading and analyzing geographic charts behavior, case analysis, operation behavior and expression behavior, the 22 secondary indexes include: watching videos and animation, watching teaching presentation, watching the writing and drawing on the board, listening, taking notes, reading materials in the text, reading the column in the textbook, reading other textual materials, reading and analyzing map, reading and analyzing geographic sketch maps, reading and analyzing geographical landscape maps and geographic comics, and remote sensing images, reading and analyzing geographic statistical charts, conversion of different images or conversion between the drawing and text, reading and analyzing cases, discussing and analysis cases, migrating and application cases, filling geographic chart, geographic calculation, geographic experiments, answer the question,raise questions, and, expressing your own opinions; The criteria of the evaluation standards of observation and evaluation index system is:excellent, medium, good.The observation and evaluation index system has the following characteristics:(1) emphasizing the incentive function of evaluation; (2) paying attention to the openness of the index system; (3) paying attention to process evaluation; (4)highlighting the geography characteristics; (5) diversification of evaluation subject; (6) having firm operation.
