| With the development of our economy,English,as an international language,has become more and more important.The input and output of an language mainly depends on some ways,such as listening、speaking、reading and writing.But no matter what it is,all the ways are based on the mastery of vocabulary.Vocabulary plays an important role in English subject,and it’s also an important foundation of the development of English skill.So English vocabulary teaching is a vital part of English teaching in junior high school.Nevertheless,reviewing a lot of literature and doing some researches,many problems in English vocabulary teaching were found.This paper on experimental teaching applied in English vocabulary teaching aims to help students improve their English skills and arise their English interest.The theory of experimental teaching emphasizes that students should take an active part in teaching activities.These experimental activities can promote students’ emotions and improve students’ practical handle abilities so as to construct their knowledge hierarchy.The experimental theory tends to bring students into some situations and in these situations students complete the whole teaching activities.Two points mentioned above make the relationship between teachers and students become wonderful.The combination of experimental teaching and vocabulary teaching is a worthwhile research orientation.Does the experimental teaching applied in the vocabulary teaching change students’ attitude to the vocabulary learning? Does it improve students’ learning abilities or arise their interest? Grade Two students of some high school in Fuzhou were taken as objects to do an applied research of experimental teaching in English vocabulary teaching which was to solve the above questions.From March,2015 to June,2015,a teaching experiment between two equivalent classes of Grade Two was done.One of the classes is chosen as Experimental Class,the other is Control Class.On the premise of the same teacher and the same teaching time,the experimental class uses experimental teaching method and the control class uses regular teaching method.After the experiment,the data of the questionnaire and the tests were collected.Based on the collection and the analysis of the questionnaire and the experimental data,here is the result:1.The combination of experimental teaching and English vocabulary teaching in junior high school is available,which can improve the vocabulary learning ability effectively.2.The experimental teaching applied in the vocabulary teaching can change students’ attitude to the vocabulary learning and improve learner’s vocabulary learning interest effectively. |
