The transition to junior high school means a period of time from higher grade primary school to junior high school. At this time, Students mainly experience changes in two aspects. On the one hand, students in the period of transition to adolescence, unbalance of body and mind. On the other hand, after students rise up into junior middle school, the living environment has changed. These changes would direct influence students'school adjustment when they enter junior high school, related to students whether or not participate school activities pleasantly and succeed in school. Therefore, preparation for school-attending should be paid more attention during the period of transition to junior high school, help the students to be well prepared to face the challenges that are about to come, and then achieve good school adjustment. Then, what preparations are the bigger effect factor for students during the period to junior high school, and what is the relationship between these preparations and school adjustment?Firstly, this research combined many empirical researches and valuable experiences of frontline teachers, and summarized four main aspects of student enrollment preparation: learning and cognition, emotion, parent-child interaction, interpersonal communication. This research revised the preparation states of students during the transition to junior high school Questionnaire to measure students'school readiness. This questionnaire consists of seven dimensions of a total of thirty-one questions. Study participants are 652 students from 6th grade in Fuxin city, Shenyang city, Changchun city Heilongjiang Province, various indicators accord with psychometrics.Secondly, this study exploration predictive effect of students' enrollment preparation in school adaptation by longitudinal follow-up. Students'preparation during the period of transition to junior high school will be measured in grade six, and assembled various indicators of school adjustment after 9 months. The measuring tools of school adjustment include the questionnaire of school engagement of junior high school students, middle school students loneliness questionnaire, the questionnaire of teacher-student relationship of junior high school students. Besides, peer nomination are being used to investigate participants'peer relationship, and students'final examination results. Study participants are 187 students from two nine-year s school in Changchun removed the lost, they were also used for the official questionnaire surveying. The study findings are as follows:(1) Self-compiled the preparation states of students during the transition to junior high school Questionnaire has good reliability and validity, various indicators accord with psychometrics.(2) The preparation states of students during the transition to junior high school Questionnaire has high value of practical use, School readiness during the period of transition to junior high school has a great influence on school adjustment.(3) In general, School readiness during the period of transition to junior high school has positive effect on school adjustment, occur as students with a high level of school readiness during the period of transition to junior high school behaves more school engagement, less sense of loneliness, a better relationship between teachers and students, a better peer relationship, better grades. Various aspects of school readiness during the period of transition to junior high school can predict most indicators of school adjustment, occur as autonomy support of parents, persistence of learning, academic self-efficacy, autonomous learning can significantly predict school engagement; autonomy support of parents, persistence of learning, autonomous learning can significantly predict relationship between teachers and students; autonomy support of parents, academic self-efficacy can significantly predict peer relationship.(4) School engagement, peer relationship plays an intermediary role when they comes to school readiness during the period of transition to junior high school's prediction on junior middle school adjustment. This includes:school engagement has full mediating effect when it comes to persistence of learning's, academic self-efficacy's autonomous learning's prediction on academic achievement; peer relationship has full mediating effect when it comes to persistence of autonomy support of parents'prediction on academic achievement.
