The new English curriculum standards of the compulsory education(2011) propose that the teacher should learn actively according to the teaching goals, learning contents, conditions and the actual situation of students and take advantage of the existing resources and modern educational technology reasonably to improve the level of student's English. In addition, as a kind of language, learning English should pay attention to practicality and applicability and students need to speak more English in the classroom instead of just listening to teacher. The electronic schoolbags give us the dawning of the training of primary English language skills. The powerful interactivity and functionality of electronic schoolbags can break through the limitation of the conventional teaching, and create a positive and harmonious atmosphere. It not only stimulates students the interest of English, but also promote the level of English language skills.Firstly, the paper describes the theory about “electronic schoolbags” and “interactive teaching in the classroom” by a large number of literature study. Secondly, I study the characteristics of primary English learning, the psychological characteristics of students as well as English teaching objectives of primary school, and build interactive teaching strategies of primary English in the classroom based on the electronic schoolbag on the basis of analyzing the coupling of electronic schoolbag and interactive teaching. Thirdly, I verify the validity of the interactive teaching strategies by a quasi-experimental. In summary, the main parts display below.1. Review of correlative idea.The thesis illustrates and analyses the correlative idea regarding with the electronic schoolbag and interactive teaching in the classroom by an extensive literature research.2. Construct the interactive teaching strategies of primary English in the classroom based on the electronic schoolbag.The paper analyzed the effects of electronic schoolbag in the primary English classroom and the coupling of electronic schoolbag and interactive teaching in the classroom on the basis of clarifying the function of electronic schoolbag. In addition, the paper build interactive teaching strategies of primary English in the classroom based on the electronic schoolbag by analyzing the characteristics of primary English learning, the psychological characteristics of students as well as English teaching objectives of primary school, combined with analysis of factors of interactive teaching of primary English in the classroom.3. To prove the validity of strategies by educational experiment.I choose two parallel classes in Shandong Experimental Primary School, and I put the class one as Experimental class, the class two as control class. In the control class, we used the conventional methods for regular English teaching, while in the experimental class, we use the interactive teaching strategies based on electronic schoolbags for English teaching. In the later experiment, we collected relative data and analyzed them by the rating scale and questionnaire to verify the validity of strategies. Finally, we get the conclusion. The study believed that the electronic schoolbag could stimulate interest of learning English for primary students and promote primary English language skills, especially significant in listening and reading English skills.The study indicates that the electronic schoolbag has unique advantages in the interactive teaching in English classroom of primary school. It could create an equal and active atmosphere, and promote the interaction between students and teachers. It also could enhance the students' confidence and the interest of learning English, and then improve the listening, speaking and reading skills.
