| Rural relative city, has the unique advantage of natural environment, in the geography teaching plays a huge role, not only can make students’ attention to the side of the consciousness and culture learning geography interest, improve the students’ ability of practice and exploration, narrow the gap with urban middle school geography teaching, but also stimulate students to love the hometown of emotion, enhance the development of the local geography course resources, more conducive to the realization of the goal of geography teaching. Therefore, the author to three rural middle schools as the research object, based on the field investigation and study foundation by collected literature method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logical analysis, of the rural middle school geography curriculum resources development and utilization status of analysis and research.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter introduces the research background, significance, content, methods and research status in literature; the second chapter introduces the theoretical basis of this paper, the concept of the geography curriculum resources in detail; the third chapter is the rural geography curriculum resources development and utilization of the value analysis, from the excited the interest of the students, to change the way students learn geography and promote students’ all-round development of the three aspects of curriculum goals are analyzed; the fourth chapter mainly introduces the investigation of middle school geography curriculum resources in rural areas and the analysis of the existing problems, through the questionnaire survey to collect data, identify three problems, points out four the causes of the problems; the fifth chapter mainly introduces the difficulties of rural middle school geography curriculum development and utilization strategy research, The advantages and disadvantages of the development and utilization of geography curriculum resources in rural middle schools are analyzed, and the four strategies for the development and utilization of Geography Curriculum in rural middle schools are pointed out. Finally, based on the current situation of rural development proposed rural geography curriculum resources development and utilization of four aspects: professional geography teachers training, the development of effective integration of school geography curriculum resources, actively due to enrich the school system development of external geography curriculum resources, strengthen local local curriculum development, make their own characteristics into the geography curriculum resources.
