Yulin dog litchi festival was an original local festival, due to the exposure of media and the protest of dog lovers gradually escalated into a public event, caused widespread concern of all parties, and sparked conflict in the local city. With the use of literature research, I get the material from the famous mainstream media sites extensive collection of reports on the dog section, through material collection and analysis, I want to solve the problem of how does it affects people's cognitive and behavioral actions.Based on the dog section of Yulin litchi detailed study, I attempt to analyze the three-way interaction in this process, in the face with the Yulin dog litchi festival and the same local eating habits, how the dog lovers and local people select information base on their own perspective. In both sides, everyone within the group's position is based on the choice of their own experience, values, cognitive structure to choose. People tend to choose the information of the same mental habits with cognitive structure and ignore the inconsistent information in order to reduce cognitive conflict. In the face of each other's opinions, dog lovers and locals in order to make their actions more reasonable, will selectively emphasize reasonable information which can prove their position and ignore information inconsistent with their position, while the other proposed concept will be ignored, resulting in a misalignment of each party information relationships. And in this process, each side strengthened identity within the group while have a stereotype in the others, which in turn exacerbate the intensity of the conflict. However, due to the dislocation of information, no one party can successfully persuade the other, leading to controversy died down, and have no avail.The paper concludes that the information selection mechanism widespread in the public event of Yulin dog litchi festival, people are accustomed to receiving information incorporated into their cognitive frames. Although the dog lovers and locals interacted with each other, with the internal acceptance gradually increased and while the other members of the group formed a stereotype, deepened the gulf between the groups. In this public events, see not shared framework between groups, misalignment of information exists in the interaction, leading to the failure of communication.
