In the context of rapid urbanization and with the continuous improvement of people's living standard,community residents have increasingly more and higher need for community service.Xi Jinping's report at 19 th CPC National Congress pointed out that" We need to improve public service system,ensure people's basic living standards and meet people's increasingly growing need for good life”.As a special product of urbanization,resettlement community for rural housing demolition and relocation becomes a new kind of community in the process of urbanization in China.Moreover,with the large increase in the number of resettlement community in urbanization,it is necessary to provide proper public service to not only meet the resettlement community residents' growing needs for good life but also help landless peasants to better adapt to the life in resettlement community.Therefore,it is significant to identify the need of the residents of resettlement community for public service.Based on the investigation of the public service in Shuyunnanting Community,Mimou Town,Qingbaijisng District,Chengdu,after analysis,the author finds out the existing problems and explores their causes.Moreover,based on the theories about public management,the author further researched on how to promote the four public service agencies including the government,grassroots community,community organization and market organization to better play a role in providing public service so as to realize resources sharing and broaden the scope and channel of public service.This research also attempts to construct a public service providing mechanism,a human resource management mechanism and a supervision mechanism for the purpose of providing a reference for the continuous improvement of the level of public service in community.The research result in this paper not only has significant practical value in the improvement of the public service in resettlement community for rural housing demolition and relocation,but also helps to improve residents' satisfaction,sense of gain and sense of happiness.Thus,this research has important practical value for China to accelerate the development of new-type urbanization.The author hopes this research can provide a standard for the enhancement of public service construction in resettlement community and attract social organizations topositively participate into various projects of public service in resettlement community.It is also expected that more social organizations can enrich the content of community public service and provide effective and high-quality service for the residents in resettlement community.What's more,more community residents are encouraged to throw themselves into volunteer service and realize self-management,self-service and self-improvement.
