The Status And Strategic Research Of Disabled Elderly Community Care In Lanzhou City

Under the background of the aging population,Lanzhou city,as one of the aging cities,is facing the reality of the aging population surge,especially the rapid growth of disabled elderly population.How to meet the maintenance needs of disabled elderly as a vulnerable group becomes an urgent need to pay attention to under the situation that the family pension function is weakening day by day and the development of pension service industry is relatively lagging behind.On the one hand,disabled elderly due to illness or disability lead to their physical function degradation,mobility is limited,their life and interpersonal communication range is mostly limited to the community,and influenced by traditional ideas and economic ability constraints,most of them are reluctant to accept the institutional pension model;On the other hand,disabled elderly people have a huge demand for daily life care and regular health care services.Therefore,the disabled elderly community care came into being.In recent years,with China’s economic development,the continuous improvement of community infrastructure and function,the improvement of people’s disposable income,as well as the change of old-age concept,community in the old-age potential has been gradually excavated and developed,community care in the disabled elderly maintenance shows its unique advantages.Therefore,the quality of community care services,service staff professional skills,as well as the development of community care and the establishment of the system put forward higher requirements.This paper mainly studies the problem of disabled elderly community care in Lanzhou city,supported by welfare pluralism theory and social support theory,using interview and observation method,on the basis of the field survey of G community,C community and QiLihe district K community in ChengGuan district of Lanzhou city,the disabled elderly,caregivers and community workers were interviewed.Through the analysis of the obtained data,this paper expounds the basic physical and mental conditions of the disabled elderly in Lanzhou,the demand for and participation in community care services,and the current supply of community care services in Lanzhou.According to the present situation of disabled elderly community care in Lanzhou city,the problems existing in the process of development were put forward.Combined with the development experience of community care in developed countries,it is proposed that the development of community care for disabled elderly in Lanzhou should expand the service content and construct the servicesystem of community care for disabled elderly.Improve the degree of socialization of disabled elderly community care,broaden the channels of funding;To strengthen the construction of professional personnel;To strengthen the attention and publicity of relevant departments,improve the disabled elderly and their families to community care trust and participation.
