Analyze Naval Construction In Nanjing National Government Period From?Navy Communique?(1929-1937)

At the end of the qing dynasty,Beiyang navy was the fourth largest in the world.After the first sino-japanese war,the Chinese navy's reconstruction has not officially been on the agenda,and the infighting of warlords makes the Chinese Navy factions separate and do everything in their own way.The leadership system of the navy is chaotic,and the weapons of the ships are old and backward,and the gap with the world is becoming larger and larger.In 1927,the nanjing national government was established and the Chinese navy began to unify.After the establishment of the admiralty in 1929,the Chinese navy completed the formal unification.Although the third fleet in the northeast and the fourth fleet in guangdong were not under the control of the navy,it was also unified under a national government,which was beneficial to the unified management and construction of the Chinese navy.The naval development was on track from 1927 to 1937,especially after 1929,.With the enactment and implementation of the regulations,the establishment and leadership system of the Chinese navy gradually improved under the leadership of the secretary of the navy,Chen shao kuan,all the activities of the navy have rules to follow.By buying and building,naval ships and weapons have been updated and strengthened,and the training of naval personnel is more regularized.China's naval combat capability,while still unable to compare with Japan,has developed greatly in comparison with previous efforts until the outbreak of the war of resistance in 1937.This paper will briefly summarize the development of the navy from late qing dynasty to the Beiyang period and introduces the process of Chinese modern navy from the beginning,the development to the strong,the defeat in the first sino-japanese war and the reconstruction.And exploring the construction of the Chinese navy after the establishment of the admiralty in 1929 according to the naval gazette issued by nanjing navy,include the improvement of the naval leadership system,the change of the fleet establishment,the construction of the ship weapons,etc.The first part "the perfection of the naval leadership system" analyzed the origin of the modern naval construction and the preliminary development of the Beiyang government firstly.Then the article analyzes the improvement of naval construction,the perfection of the admiralty institution and the norms of personnel establishment,and expounds the perfect process and concrete performance of the naval leadership system.In terms of changes in the naval fleet,this paper discusses the change process of the naval vessels,analyzes the causes of the change of the fleet and the causes of the variation of the fleet.On the aspact of the construction of the ships and weapons,this paper gives an overview of the naval ship building plan in nanjing government,explores ways and types of ship increases comparing with the old ship during the Beiyang Government Period.After that,the article described the efforts,contributions and sacrifices made by the Republic of China in the Anti-Japanese War,summarizes the record of the navy's new warship in the Anti-Japanese War.Then this paper analyzes the contribution of naval construction in Nanjing government period at the Anti-Japanese War and it also discusses the reasons for the failure.The paper preliminarily studied the construction of the republic of China navy from 1929 to 1937,1 hope to have some reference to the naval construction of the People's Republic of China.
