Research On The Development Of Community Policing In China Under The New Normal

Community policing is a new policing mode developed in recent decades.It represents a new policing concept.Unlike the traditional policing,which focuses on fighting crime,community policing is based on the community,focusing on crime prevention and serving the masses,emphasizing the interaction and coordination between community residents and police.The development of community policing in foreign countries was earlier.From the policing reform in the United Kingdom,the United States,Japan,Australia and other western countries began to carry out the new model of community policing.Since 90 s of last century,China has actively studied the concept of foreign community policing,and combined with the basic national conditions of our country,it has developed a community policing strategy with Chinese characteristics.Since twenty-first Century,the community policing in our country has developed steadily,and many experts and scholars from all over the country have carried out many fruitful explorations and researches.Since the comprehensive development of community policing strategy in China,Nanchang has carried out a series of exploration and innovation in accordance with the central deployment.In this paper,community policing of Nanchang city as the breakthrough point,through the literature research method,investigation method,case analysis method and other methods,in-depth Nanchang city community policing base,investigation,refining,research,analysis of the development status of Nanchang city community policing.Analysis of the basic situation,problems and difficulties mainly focuses on the research of Nanchang city community policing,community policing with experience at home and abroad around the Nanchang city community policing work practice,put forward specific improvement suggestions for the development of community policing in Nanchang city from 5 aspects of mass foundation,evaluation mechanism,logistical support and cooperation of many departments,innovative work methods etc...
