Analysis Of Communication Traces In Larceny Cases Of Laiwu City

The larceny cases’ proportion in criminal cases keep high in Laiwu city and it is becoming an important factor affecting people’s sense of security and satisfaction.In these cases,larceny gangs often make more damage to the social stability and economic development because of the high value of property in the cases.At the same time,with the popularity of intelligent terminals and the rapidly development of mobile Internet,people more and more rely on smart phones and other terminal equipment in work and life,so as the suspects in larceny cases.In the whole process of crime the suspects often make frequent communication through the smart phone,leaving a lot of communication traces in the communication network and the communication terminals.Through the social network analysis of these communication traces,we can understand the organizational structure and key suspects of the larceny gangs.The main research work of this thesis includes the following several aspects:1)Studied the causes and manifestations of communication traces at different stages of larceny cases,as well as the retention of communication traces.2)Through the analysis of the collected communication traces,build the social network model of larceny cases in which the mobile phone numbers in the larceny case are nodes and the communication behavior between the nodes are edges.3)Made a quantitative analysis of the importance of nodes in the network using the Degree Centrality and Betweenness Centrality,and find out the important nodes in the social network of larceny gangs.4)Used the social network model and the important node mining method to analyze larceny cases occurred in Laiwu City.This thesis provides a new investigative thinking for the investigators,and has some practical guiding significance to improve the efficiency of solving the cases and effectively cracking down on the crime of larceny.
