A Study On Current Popular Belief Situation

Belief is the spiritual home of human beings,the coordinates of life and the power of spirit.With the continuous change of society,the development of globalization and information,people’s living environment and life style are changing constantly and a variety of ideological and cultural exchanges and collisions in constant,which affects the public’s ideological awareness,including faith.At present,the mainstream of popular belief is positive,healthy and upward.However,under the background of the new era,the mass belief also presents the characteristics of pluralism,irrationality and utilitarianism.This article has carried on the investigation to the Ningbo populace’s belief condition and uses the SPSS19.0 statistical software to analyze the investigation data.It is found that there are some outstanding problems about the current popular belief:the public perception of faith is superficial and people often confuse religion with faith;Cognitive and behavioral disorders.For example,in terms of cognitive beliefs,people approve of the Marx doctrine,but in action people tend to superstition.Faith has double standards:both the pursuit of noble and utilitarian.Some people pursue the noble moral belief of serving the people,but to some extent,they are very realistic and pay special attention to their own interests.To some extent,faith crisis appear.The dominant belief in our country is affected by all kinds of thoughts and some people have shaken the mainstream beliefs.These problems are closely related to domestic and international environment,school and social education and their own factors.The low tide of socialism in the international environment and diversified social thoughts attack the mainstream ideology.The impact of the market economy in the domestic environment and the existing contradictions make that the public has a certain degree of exclusion of the mainstream ideology of society.Belief education of school lack of effectiveness.Although the education of political belief is in place,it ignores the moral belief,legal belief,belief in life and so on.The atmosphere of social belief education is not strong enough,and the atmosphere of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit needs to be created.With the enhancement of the subject consciousness,people are more and more independent and choose their own beliefs.In order to solve the above problems,we should explore the way to lead and shape the scientific and reasonable mass belief.From the education aspect,strengthening the education of the main melody make the masses to form rational belief cognition and cultivate the socialist core value system.From the construction of economy,politics,culture and public opinion aspect,we should create atmosphere to promote the formation of scientific belief.From practical activities aspect,we should carry out practical activities to promote construction of belief.Finally,We should strengthen the education of ideals and beliefs of Party members and the youth groups.
