Research On Investigation Countermeasures Against Theft In Corporate Offices

With the rapid development of socialist market economy,the number of companies have been growing fast daily in our country.According to the statistics of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce,there were 54.948 million market players in 2012,and by the end of 2016,the number had risen to 87.054 million,58% growth.With such rapid development,theft cases in corporate office rooms are increasing as well,which not only encroaches on the property ownership of the companies but also destroys the social order and stability.However,there is not much research on office crimes at present and most scholars have categorized the cases to work unit crime rather than office room crime.Although they have put forward macroscopic countermeasures,most of them are lack of targeted and practical countermeasures.Therefore,this paper has included 100 office cases as samples happened in D city,S province over the past five years.Investigation,comparison,analysis methods are employed in it.These cases have the following features :First,they have low detection rate and are time-consuming.Second,the loss is difficult to recover and the crime scences are complicated.Moreover,More and more perpetrators take advantage of such advanced intelligent technologies in criminal activities that traditional countermeasures are difficult to tackle them.Therefore,theft cases in corporate office rooms have a very high research value and great significance.The part of the paper expounds the definition and characteristics of theft in corporate office rooms.The second part analyzes the causes of such cases.The third part studies the difficulties in investigation works.The fourth part puts forward some countermeasures of investigation.The fifth part focuses on the prevention and control countermeasures.In order to solve these crime cases,investigators should pay attention to the crime scenes,using string and trace evidence which are found at the scene investigation,and taking advantage of information technologies,giving full play to the utility of information-based reconnaissance means,and at the same time putting into practice the investigation cooperation mechanism regularly in more fields.
