The Study Of Jewish Settlements In The Occupied Palestinian Territories

Since Israel occupied the land belong to the Palestinian territories according to the United Nations Division in the third Middle East war,Israel have been building numbers of Jewish settlements.In the development of settlements,the main political parties in Israel、the religious group、the Israeli’s defense forces etc play the important roles in the construction of the settlements.Facing the severe situation,Palestinian keeps eyes on the international society,expecting to obtain the help from it and finally promote the introduction of the EU policy on Israeli economic sanctions.However,because of the United States to Israel’s support,the strategy that Palestinians seek international support can’t effect well.Thus,the most important thing to Palestinians now is to reduce the Palestinian economic dependence on Israel and alleviate the employment pressures.At the same time,Palestinian should do the fastest to negotiate with Israel on the area of C district in the agreement that Interim Agreement on the West Bank and Gaza Strip.Only in this way can Palestinians narrow the gap between the two sides and increase their bargaining power with Israel on the issue of Jewish settlements.For Israel,the massive investment in the occupied territories on Jewish settlements not only hinder the development of Israeli domestic economy,but also seriously affect people’s social welfare level in Israel,leading people’s dissatisfies even demonstration.Meanwhile,Israel’s Behavior that build large-scale settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory also lead the criticized and isolated from the international community,making it into a passive situation in the world.Therefore,the evacuation of settlements is represent the general trend.However,in the face of a huge number of settlements and settlers,the withdrawal is costly.so short-term entirely evacuation is neither realistic nor possible,only under the auspices of the international community and in accordance with the easy first principle,can Israel realize the partial and the final evacuation target.
