Research On The Formation Mechanism Of Political Identity

Political identity is the process by which a citizen of the country forms political affiliation and value consent to political objects on the basis of political cognition and fits political objects into their own personality and then produces political identity.Political identity is not only a political attitude,but also the psychological basis of political rule,which is of great significance in theory and reality.Theoretically,bringing insights into the mechanism about the formation of political identity is conducive to academic community forming a more comprehensive and deep understanding toward it,as well as to promote the development of political psychology;realistically,to explore how political identity form can not only sever as reference for consolidating the ruling party's ruling position,but also to provide guidance for the promotion of citizens' political socialization.On the basis of combing the relevant research of scholars in the past,this paper analyzes the mechanism in which political identity form,combing the element,function and level,from the perspective of political psychology,and highlights the organic and dynamic nature of the mechanism research.On the whole,political identity is a psychological process of individuals' political cognition,political emotion,political value and political consistency interrelating and gradually pushing.Without any part,political identity cannot be formed.In particular,political cognition is the basis of political identity forming,belonging to the level of preparation in the formation of political identity;because human cognition is the process of subject selection and rational,it can provide the possibility of information selection for the formation of political identity and the rational support;the human interest needs is the driving force of the political cognition,and the political information is the raw material of the political cognition processing.Therefore,the internalization of the political information signifies the formation of the political cognition.Political emotion is generated by the political needs of people,interacting with political cognition and political values;political emotion has the power and relative stability in human mental activities,and is the strengthening agent of the political identity forming,belonging to the level of attribution in the process of political identity forming.The debugging of political value is divided into the subjects' intrinsic value adjustment and the value adjustment between the subjects and the objects.Because the political value is the essence of political identity and the consent of the value is at a higher level in the political identity,the convergence of political value is the key of political identity forming.Political identity indicates that citizens have made political objects become part of their own personality,and formed the consistency and continuity of a political personality,marking the formation of political identity.
