A Study On Sino-African Cooperation Under The Perspective Of The Right Concept Of Morality And Benefits

In 2013,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to uphold justice and pursue shared interests diplomatic guidelines firstly in his visit to Africa.Since then,China’s African policy is closely bound up to this diplomatic concept.The right concept of morality and benefits is a new breakthrough of the new CPC Central Committee headed by Xi Jinping on China’s diplomatic concept innovation.The core idea of this concept is morality and mutual benefits,and it is the guideline of China’s peripheral diplomacy and the Sino-African relations.For a long time,China’s diplomacy attaches importance to morality,but the knowledge of mutual benefits is adapted to the development and changes of the world.The relations of morality and benefits is embedded in the history of Sino-African cooperation,and it is embedded in the ways and results of Sino-African cooperation.It is important to study the Sino-African cooperation under the perspective of this right concept of morality and benefits consequently.There is high interdependence between China and Africa.China’s diplomatic relations with Africa began in the 1950s,the long-term aids to Africa accounts for a major part of Sino-African cooperation.Before 1978,Sino-African cooperation model is mainly based on China’s free aid.After 1978,China’s cooperative ideas and practice towards Africa began to swift in the "mutual beneficial" direction.On the basis of"righteousness",we began to attach importance to the consideration of "benefit",which is a bright spot in the adjustment of Sino-African cooperation model since the reform and opening up.Sino-African cooperation showing the practical results of the right concept of morality and benefits concept.At the same time,the concept of morality and interests has different kinds of expression in different stages of Sino-African cooperation history.In the past,China neglected economic benefit in the cooperation with African,it have formed different problems:such as China’s own development dilemma,in which the principle of cooperation has not been effectively implemented and the international community had unharmonious voices.Under the guidance of the right concept of morality and benefits,the Sino-African relations have made remarkable progress in politics as well as economy and culture in the new period.The thesis intend to study the diplomatic thought of the right concept of morality and benefits and its impact on Sino-African cooperation.The practice proved the important guiding significance of the right concept of morality and benefits for China’s diplomacy.It reminds that there are urgent needs for China,which are getting identity in international society,getting effective participation to create China’s version of international rules and winning more say in the international community.And the right concept of morality and benefits is the China’s solution to this demand.
