The Study On Chinese Land-lost Farmers' Communication Network And Everyday-resistance During The Process Of Urbanization

Basing on the major of journalism&communication and the theory of everyday-resistance,this thesis` research object focuses on the everyday-resistance of land-lost farmers from Z village,Henan province who facing the land expropriation and housing removal.This thesis aims to solve four questions:the reason and form of land-lost farmers` everyday-resistance;the relation between land-lost farmers` media use and resistance awareness;how land-lost farmers using communication &media tools to fight for their legal rights;how media influencing land-lost farmers`communication network and everyday-resistance.This thesis takes the Scott`s theory of everyday-resistance as research paradigm,combining with case study and questionnaire survey etc.,to illustrate Z village`s landscape----villager media use,communication network,everyday-resistance.After that,according to the collected first-hand information and data,it will analysis the whole situation in Z village and then present the way and solution to solve the deprivation of land-lost farmers` legal rights.This thesis includes five chapters.Chapter One is the Introduction,which contains the research background,research purposes and significance,literature review etc.Chapter Two is the data and descriptive statistics about Z village land-lost farmer`s demographic data,media use and rights protection.Chapter Three focuses on analyzing the communication network of Z village,which contains interpersonal communication,group communication and organizational communication.Chapter Four is the quantitative analysis of everyday-resistance & media use.Combining with Chapter Two,this chapter will make the empirical conclusion about reasons and forms of everyday-resistance,relation between media use and everyday-resistance.Chapter Five is about the solution.Basing on the previous analysis and real situation,this chapter will throw out suggestions resolving the conflict between local government and land-lost farmers.
