Vientiane City Public Traffic Safety Research

Traffic accidents not only take away people’s lives,and costly,restricting the national economic development.Laos Vientiane city had public traffic safety problems,and this research analyzed the present situation of Vientiane city public traffic safety,the existence question and its reason,and draw lessons from foreign,on the basis of urban public traffic safety management,and put forward improving Vientiane city public traffic safety problem of feasible Suggestions.Research found that all public traffic safety problems mainly traffic safety inadequate infrastructure,public transport supply single way,emergency handling capacity was not strong,and the violation of traffic rules phenomenon was widespread.The main reason for the public traffic safety problem was the lack of capital investment,legal supervision was not strong,the emergency response mechanism was imperfect,public traffic safety consciousness was not strong.Research suggested that improving Vientiane city public traffic safety need to strengthen traffic safety infrastructure construction,strengthen the public traffic safety law supervision,improve the level of public traffic safety emergency response,increasing public traffic safety propaganda education.This research would help improve the level of urban public traffic safety management,reduce the incidence of traffic accidents,protect people life and property safety,guarantee the healthy and stable development of society and economy.
