Research On Political Participation By Minority Farmers And Herdsmen In Frontier Minority Region

Political participation is an important conception in modern politics,it is corn problem of modern democratic political,it is an important sign of political modernization.At present,in the process of stability and development of multi-ethnic countries,political participation is a factor that can not be ignored.As we all know,China is a country with a large number of ethnic minorities,the stability of the minority autonomous region is very important to the maintenance of the peaceful reunification of the country.The population of farmers and herdsmen is very huge in the minority areas.The awareness,capability,means,and the effect of their being involved in grass-roots democracy directly reflect the development level of the local grass-roots democracy.Since the implementation of the villagers’ autonomy,farmers take an active part in social affairs.The number of participants,diversified investment channels,upgraded participation levels and the depth and breadth of engagement has been strengthened,all of these indicating that the political consciousness of the peasant masses is increasing.But because of our countries’ economic development is not balanced,Due to unbalanced regional economic development,obvious cultural difference and large gap in custom in China,the political participation behaviors of minority farmers and herdsmen are various.Firstly,started with concepts related to political participation,this paper sorted the theoretical foundation and summarized relevant researches.Secondly,it analyzed important significance;based on the case analysis of political participation by Xilin Gol League minority farmers and herdsmen,this paper analyzed the dilemma of current minority farmers and herdsmen’ s political participation from five perspectives,such as channel of political participation,sense of political participation,efficiency of political participation and legal protection.At last,through combining theoretical guidance with practical analysis,it proposed countermeasures for minority farmers and herdsmen’ s political participation.
