The Study On "Mass Line" Of CPC In Theory And Practice By Xi Zhongxun

As a communist,Xi Zhongxun is a member of the collective leadership of the Party Central Committee of the first and the second generation.Under the influence of historical views of masses of Marxism in his early years,he initiatively engaged himself into revolution,becoming one of leaders of the masses who came from the masses.Since new China was found,he has devoted himself into taking charge of the administration of the northwestern Chinese region and the executive work of the state council,then persisting in advocating Reform and Opening-up policy in coastal provinces,such as Guangdong although suffering an unrighteous treatment during the Cultural Revolution.Xi’s thoughts of Mass Line have been a very distinctive component of the CPC’s mass line.Therefore,it is full of theoretical value and practical significance to conduct a systematic study of Xi’s thoughts for consolidating the educational and practical achievements of Mass Line,accelerating modernization of the Party’s ability to govern and further embodying tremendous strength to realize China’s dream.This thesis consists of five parts.The part of introduction mainly introduces the significance of title,the research achievements at home and abroad,research methods and ideas and research difficulties.The first part focuses on expounding the origin of Xi’s thoughts of "mass line" from such four aspects as his background of family education,the learning of theory,the cultivation of the masses view of the CPC,and practical exploration during the periods of Revolutionary Struggle,Socialist Construction and Reform and Opening-up.In the second part,there is a thorough dissection in basic contents of his thoughts of "mass line",including the following three aspects:firstly,putting the interests of masses in the highest position by taking up their standpoint and insisting on their viewpoint;secondly,serving the people whole heartedly on the basis of people’s interests;thirdly,placing more emphasis on investigation and research under the instruction of the mass.From the perspective of practice,the third part gives a detailed elaboration of how to carry out "mass line" under the guidance of Xi Zhongxun during the periods of New Democratic Revolution,Socialist Construction and Reform and Opening-up.The fourth part focuses on historical contribution and value of the times of Xi’s Mass Line thoughts;the former is expounded from two aspects of theoretical value and practical significance,the latter from those three perspectives of the implementation of Mass Line,the Party’s governance and the realization of China’s dream.
