A Study On The Legal Protection Of Privacy In Network Environment

With the rapid development of information technology and the expanding use of the Internet,people’s life has changed greatly in work and study,and become more and more convenient.At the same time,the Internet is playing an important role in economy,politics and other aspects.Nowadays,the speed and ability of collecting information on the Internet in various industries improve continuously;the number and speed of information dissemination have also produced a staggering growth,which makes us become no privacy "transparent people” in front of the Internet.The Internet privacy issues become increasingly prominent,and now more and more sites store in real personal information data,which faces the risk of being illegally collected and used.The Internet privacy is exposed to the social and public vision,which poses the serious threat to privacy.However,the protection of privacy in our country is still lacking,which makes it difficult to pick up legal weapons to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests when their privacy being invaded.Therefore,we should pay more attention to the Internet privacy torts issue,and explore solutions actively to protect the privacy of citizens on the Internet effectively.This article will be described from the following aspects.The first part of the article introduces the basic situation of the Internet privacy right,and explains the threat of the network privacy and the form of the infringement.The second part analyzes the status of legal protection about the Internet privacy in China,and reveals the existing problems in our country.In the third part,the foreign legal protection of Internet privacy are analyzed,and mainly introduces the current situation of the protection of privacy on the Internet in the United Kingdom and the United States,Japan,and get some inspiration.The fourth part draws lessons from the foreign experience of the protection of the privacy on the Internet,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions on the legal protection of the Internet privacy right from the reality of our country.
