The Study Of The Urban Village Peasants' Citizenization From Perspective Of Social Integration

With the development of urbanization,the problem of urban village which is surrounded by the city,has become an important issue which is drawing people's attention.The transformation of village in city and the advance of urbanization of the agricultural population make people focus more attention on the urban village peasants' citizenization.Because the urban village is a combination of urban society and rural society,people who live there is a special group.On the one hand,they are not traditional villagers,because they belong to the land losing farmers.They have better economic foundation,their social identities and employment patterns have changed and they are influenced by the city life for a long time.On the other hand,they retain the characteristics of traditional villagers and they are inextricably linked with the rural society,which make them be great different from urban residents in the aspects of mind and action,etc.Essentially,urbanization is people-oriented,so the urban village peasants' citizenization is an inevitable trend.Actually,the urban village peasants' citizenization is a dynamic process.During the process,the peasants break away from the village,change the traditional ideology and behavior which are not adopted to the city's and integrated to the life in urban.That's to say,they undergo a disembedding,de-traditonalization and re-embedding process.Therefore,this paper studies the content of the urban village peasants' citizenization in the perspective of social integration.First of all,the paper analyzes the integrating point of social integration and urban village peasants' citizenization,which contains economic,political,social,cultural and psychological intrgration.Then from the differences between urban and rural areas,social structure and value judgment,it introduces the necessity of the urban village peasants' citizenizaion.And in the existing mode of the urban village peasants' citizenization,the local citizenization,it points out the peasants' advantages in economy and mentality,and the disadvantages in politics,culture and society.All of these are reflected in the second and third parts of the paper.Secondly,selecting the GQ village of SJ as a case,it studies the situation of urban village peasants' citizenization.The content is covered by the peasants' disembedding in household registration and land system,de-traditonalization in the transformation of no-agricultural job,concept and civic consciousness and re-embedding in residential community,identity recognition and behavior pattern.Then from institution,income,society and psychology,it analyzes the problems which urban village peasants may have in urbanization's process.All of these content is written in the forth chapter.At last,it explores the obstructive factors of the urban village peasants' citizenization,which contain three factors: social factors,government factors and peasants factors.Then according to the inadequacy of the local resident model and the situation and problem of urban village peasants' citizenization,it presents the general idea of inclusive governance and the basic principle of people-oriented,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
