This paper is taking the city of Shenyang Hunnan district government to implement the government performance management as the research object,to study its role in the work of the government. The work of the government performance management in the process of development,the advantage at the same time there is a certain limitation,coupled with the government to carry out performance management directly affects the efficiency of administrative work and the improvement of relevant government departments to perform their duties in place,this is to improve office efficiency,improve the government's image in the minds of the masses,all it is very important of the government should be as etc.The performance management can clearly and timely reflect the government management activities,and the implementation of effective monitoring of the performance objectives,timely discover and correct the problem,to improve government efficiency,reduce management cost and performance target has a pivotal role. This paper uses PDCA model analysis method,this paper studies the performance management status of Hunnan district government,the Hunnan district government performance management background,management situation,content as well as its role in the government management is studied, and according to the characteristics,Hunnan district government performance management methods,advantages and shortcomings to be improved the analysis,based on the analysis of Hunnan district government performance management obtained the enlightenment,also put forward some constructive suggestions according to the specific situation of Hunnan District government.The research results show that the performance management is a new way of innovation of administrative management,Hunnan district government after years of exploration and practice,it makes the performance management work have achieved excellent results,not only to enhance the government's executive ability,and more to enhance the government transparency and responsiveness,and effectively control the administrative cost more,promote the development of Hunnan district economy society culture undertakings.
