On The Thoughts Of Women’s Liberation And Its Contemporary Significance Of Raya Dunayevskaya

"Women are the creators of material civilization and spiritual civilization,and also the major players in promoting the development and progress of society.Thus,no woman,no human,no society." It is part of the speech,called Promote the Integrated Development of Women and Build and Share a Better World,that has been made by President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping in GWS.Women’s liberation is an important part of the human liberation.Women’s liberation has been integrating into the human liberation,with the same targets and processes.As one of the Marxist-Humanism,Raya Dunayevskaya has devoted herself to the career of women’s liberation,keeping paying attention to its development,in order to seek a way out for the development of socialism.Dunayevskaya established her thoughts on the reality person,regarding the woman as subject for spontaneity and creativity of the revolution,regarding women’s liberation as the unity of revolutionary force and revolutionary rationality.Focusing on race,class,and sex these three aspects,Dunayevskaya described her thoughts of women’s liberation in details,combining the the radical movement in the United States.She thought that the Black women of the proletariat who occupied the very bottom of the American social heap suffering from the most unfair problems of class oppression,racial exploitation and sexual discrimination.Therefore,Dunayevskaya recognized the Black women of the proletariat as a main body of the women’s liberation movement.Her thoughts of women’s liberation has enriched and deepened the thoughts of women’s liberation of Marxism.Meanwhile,her thoughts also have laid the theoretical foundation for the development of women’s liberation.What’s more,Raya Dunayevskaya’s thoughts has the contemporary significance,lying in narrowing the obvious gap between men and women in politics,employment,education etc;strengthening the consensus of the equality of men and women and gradually realizing it;fully playing the major role in history development;and promoting the harmony and development of society.
