Mao Zedong’s Theory And Contemporary Value Of Encircling The Cities From The Countryside

Mao Zedong’s theory of encircling the cities from the countryside has been proved to be the only correct way for China’s new democratic revolution.We should follow the traces of history to dig out its indelible value in contemporary time.The theory of revolutionary road still has significance and reference value to in-depth exploration and solving of the issue related to farmers in a new period.In this thesis,based on the results of research by Chinese and foreign scholars on Mao Zedong.Thought,the author combined the historical facts and comments and carried out demonstration from four aspects,including the historical background and theoretical origin,hard exploration,main content as well as historical significance and contemporary value.The first part is introduction.It mainly makes an explanation from the basis and significance of the topic,research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation points,to master the structure of thesis on the whole.The second part is the historical background and theoretical origin of the theory of encircling the cities from the countryside.The theory of revolutionary road,formed in the period of the first KMT-CPCC operation,is a model combining relevant theories of Marx and Engels with Chinese traditional culture.The third part is the hard exploration of the theory of encircling the cities from the countryside.It explores the process of the formation of the theory of revolutionary road.It is divided into two parts:first,the exploration of the theory of revolutionary road was completed in the Agrarian Revolutionary War.Second,the theory of revolutionary road was applied during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation.The fourth part is the main content of the theory of encircling the cities from the countryside.The author discusses the theory from three aspects.First,it is the basis for the settlement of revolution to understand China’s special national conditions,i.e.the necessity of taking the road of encircling the cities from the countryside;second,the focus of the CPC,s work is the revolutionary force accumulated in countryside,i.e.the possibility of encircling the cities from the countryside;third,the author discusses the national revolutionary upsurge of encircling the cities from the countryside,i.e.the final victory of encircling the cities from the countryside.The fifth part is the historical significance and contemporary value of the theory of encircling the cities from the countryside.Based on the historical and realistic perspectives,this thesis explains the value of the theory of revolutionary road,including historical significance,theoretical value and practical value.
